Attend the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest to enjoy some ice skating by the Delaware River. Between November and March, the RiverRink transforms into a spectacular winter wonderland with sparkling lights, cozy fire pits and warming cabins, boardwalk rides, games, delicious food and a holiday tree. 

You can also walk along Main Street during Founders Philly Freeze-Out to enjoy one of Philly’s best winter traditions. This event features ice sculptures, live ice-carving demonstrations, restaurant and bar specials and other fun, family-friendly activities. 

3. Celebrate Black History Month
